My weekly dinner menu 9/27-10/3

Please keep in mind, I only post my weekly menu to encourage you to plan ahead. Planning ahead helps me stay on track. I don't post recipes for what I'm cooking during the week. I don't have that kind of time. However, I do list the books used to harvest the recipes I'm using for the week (as long as the recipe is not something I'm whipping together from scratch). For instance, "OEP" stands for Old El Paso Mexican.  The books I used are listed on the menu. I make a note of the page number of each dish. It saves me time in the long run. I hate wasting time, searching through book after book, trying to find what I'm supposed to cook that evening.

Planning ahead is a key element in my 8 year success!  Don't knock it until you give it a 100%, honest to God, true blue shot.

PS...the cookbooks I used this week are the kind you find in the "impulse area" of the grocery store check out.  (Yes, I'm the type of person that buys that stuff!  They put it all there for people like me.) Anyway, each one is a little "booklet".  I think they're all Pillsbury productions, but I could be wrong about that.  I'm not sure that the Bisquick book is Pillsbury.  I'm too lazy to get up and look at them for you.  I know, what a loser!  They're really old books, anyway.  One of them has a 2004 copyright.  But I'm sure they keep publishing the same types of recipes in their new books.  Look for them on an impulse aisle near you!  :)
