Ooooo....I so love talking about my favorite things. So when a question rolled in via my blog comments, I just had to jump on it & whip up a quick post about it. Caseykfromsantafe asked:
, and bought them on Amazon.com as I do most things. After personally buying & trying at least 8 other brands / styles, I found these and have never looked back!
"I have got a question that I am hoping you can answer...looking for some headphones that don't fall out when I run. Any suggestions?!"Casey, I love the Sennheiser PMX80 Sport Series II Behind the Head Ear Phones For Sports
they don't hurt my ears like the ipod "ear buds" did (ouch!)- I actually don't feel them on my head or in my ears at all
- fabulous sound!
- no matter what I do or how I move my body, the Sennheisers stay put!
- I can run for miles and miles, dripping with sweat....and they keep working
- they do not bounce around when I run (bouncing becomes annoying after a while)
- if my arm gets caught in the cord, the phones still stay put
- I'm not constantly putting them back in my ears like I did the "ear wrap" or the "bud" style phones
- if you need to remove them in order to listen to someone you're with...just pop one side out & up...it will stay put until you're ready to tune back in to your music
I can already hear some of you poo-pooing spending any amount of money on decent gear. When you're passionate about exercise, staying on track, & keeping the weight off, you need and DESERVE top of the line gear. The more you skimp on the cost of things you honestly need & use on a regular basis, the more uncomfortable you'll be while doing the activity. I've learned this the hard way with running shoes, running socks, MP3 players, headphones, and sports bras. We'll save the sports bra story for another day. :)

Thanks for the review! I am ordering mine right now!
Great review! Thanks!
When you run, how do you keep track of or count your mileage? I prefer to just run where the spirit leads but then I have a heck of a time tracking distance. Any suggestions?

I used MapMyRun.com for over a year, and MAN is the Garmin so much better. However, MapMyRun.com is free compared to a wrist watch size GPS device. lol
Question about the headphones (somewhat embarrassing): are they adjustable? I have a LARGE head and am afraid they would hurt me, but I spent my entire run this morning shoving my earphones back in my ear -- annoying! Love all of your tips!
